Lucy Sheerman is currently writing a book about Jane Eyr e retellings and a memoir influenced by her lifelong obsession with the Brontës. Past work includes Fragments Salvaged From Her Diary: A Correspondence with Rebecca inspired by Daphne du Maurier’s bestselling novel and published by Dancing Girl Press; Even You Song , a multidisciplinary project originally created for Peterborough Cathedral that explored whether couples could make the long journey to the moon together; and Rarefied (falling without landing) , a sequence of poems about the Apollo Moon Landings published by Oystercatcher Press. Her most recent work, Pine Island , was inspired by one of Bernadette Mayer’s writing experiments, which suggests writing a daily letter that will never be sent to a person who does or does not exist. Lucy lives in Cambridge with her husband and four children.
