Welcome to the Shearsman Books online store. We will ship products anywhere in the world*, and all orders in the UK are shipped post-free. Elsewhere in the world, orders are shipped free when they exceed certain total price thresholds, which vary every year with the increase in postage costs. The standard European customer rights apply to all purchases: we will refund you in full for an unwanted or faulty product, upon receipt of the item in question, and we will send a replacement if, for some reason, our shipment fails to arrive. Alas, we cannot take responsibility for any import duties or taxes levied on the shipments we send outside the UK.

* although … we have been forced to cease selling to any country within the EU, with the exception of Ireland, as new rules brought into play in 2021 mean that we need to collect VAT at the national rate for each country, and remit the funds to the relevant national authority. It means that we would have to register for VAT in EVERY single country in the EU and the administrative burden is too much for us. Ireland is exempt as the country — like the UK — has a 0% VAT rate for books.
