Bill Freind teaches at Rowan University. He earned his A.B. in English from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, an M.A. in Creative Writing from Syracuse University, and his Ph.D. in English from the University of Washington. He has edited the collection Scubadivers and Chrysanthemums: Essays on the Poetry of Araki Yasusada (Shearsman 2011), and has published two collections of poetry: American Field Couches (BlazeVox 2008) and An Anthology (housepress 2000).
